The souvenir of high table dinner

This is a hand-made pen-stab and it is the souvenir of high table dinner in my hall. Red color has the meaning of dynamic, luck, powerful and passion which matches with the theme of this high table dinner Blossom, so that's why i chose red to be the theme color of this souvenir. Besides i used burgundy organza and golden ribbon to make the package. when burgundy is matched with gold, a grand and elegant feeling appears.

The colors above are the trendy colors in 1970s which are not harmorious when they put together. But the unexpected color combination is quite eye catching and can draw people's attention and it applies the used of principle of novelty.

In this collection i used achromatic colors and the 3 primary colors. It applies the contrast of color skill with triadic color scheme.

Color differences in apparel

Popular color change from time to time in different period. But i have observed that the popular color in each specific period of time would have some characterics in common. For example, they are of similar level of value or saturiation, in 1970s sharp colors like gold, silver is popular due to dicso culture and in 1920s pale or skin tone color was the trend.
